Course overview

Join a three-day training school for a comprehensive exploration of participatory approaches with older adults and/or persons with disabilities applied to research, practice and policy development.

Format

The in-person event will focus on:

  • current theories, methodologies and practices in participatory research, practice and policy,
  • practice examples followed by discussion and application,
  • considerations shaping protocol development and ethics, and
  • development of a framework comprising approaches and techniques.

Criteria that will inform selection include:
  • Young researchers (under 40 yrs of age)
  • Members’ current involvement in the BOPALiM or PAAR-net COST Actions

Manifested interest in and/or experience with participatory approaches in research, practice or policy.
