The Transport Research Arena is the largest European conference focusing on transport, which showcases leading research projects funded by Horizon Europe. Between 18th – 21st May 2026, Dr Domokos Esztergár-Kiss who is a MC member of BOPALiM, was the main host in Budapest of this bi-annual international conference. A large team from various countries and various career stages represented BOPALiM at TRA 2026.
Our Chair, Prof. Isabel Margot-Cattin, introduced BOPALiM to conference attendees through a session presentation and Prof. Giovanni Circella acted as a session rapporteur, whereas Dr Floridea di Ciommo, Dr Kristina Stojmenova Pečečnik, Dr Metin Mutlu Aydin, Dr Nikolas Thomopoulos, Dr Panagiotis Papantoniou, Dr Philippe Schneider, Ms Rasa Rudaitiene presented posters based on research about fitness to drive, transport inclusion and community mobility.
All attendees are looking forward to presenting final BOPALiM ouputs at the next TRA conference in Milan.
